Contains more carbon than even US Military Gas Mask Filters (like the C2 & C2A1 issued widely to US troops) Filter also contains a particulate filtering mesh that blocks particles, like radioactive dusts, mists, bacteriological threats, molds, spores, riot agent gases (which are actually considered particulates).  Each canister has a lightweight aluminum housing & is quite durable, light weight & fire resistant.
