    Description

    Unique Christofle Lacquered Matt Black Box with Metal Lid. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    This unique Christofle ornamental box is a two-pieced item. The body is wood with a matt lacquered finish.  The exterior measurements are 4 1/2 inches width and depth, and 1 1/2 inches high.    The inside of the box measures 3 3/8 inches square and 1 1/4 inches deep.
    The lid is metal with a textured finish.  The lid dimensions are 4 3/4 inches square,  The lid also has a Christofle stamp showing the Christofle name and logo.
    The box has been used to store jewelry items and shows some minor wear which could be buffed out with some furniture polish and a soft cloth,
    This is a very unique item - my research shows that Christofle no longer makes this item and I was unable to locate a similar item online.
