Incised swirls and pyrography Breton man and woman
Painted woman on lid
Lid is rounded at bottom and fills the well of the box, so it's really a decorative piece rather than a "box"
On the order of Quimper
Impressed on underside: "Gab Intierement decore a la main", "Made in France"
Very unique piece! I have several listings by this artist but I can't find anything out about him or her.
