    Description

9 by 6 1/2 by 4 inches.  Perhaps this was made into a sewing box, but you can remove the stitched panels (in fact the top panel has already separated from the box).  No major damage.  Some of the veneer (about 2 inches) is missing along the lid on the front edge.  Beautiful veneer work.  Perhaps French, but that is just a guess from the stitch work.  Original lock - I do not have the key.  Signed on the bottom "L.J. Migeon."  The lid has a definite upward warp curve toward the front of the box which can be best seen in the last two photos.  The lid does not close completely.
Domestic shipping and handling in the U.S. is .50.  Foreign bidders are welcome with the shipping costs to be determined after the auction is finished. I will combine shipping. I have decided to sell my collection of antiques (and other nice items), which I have been collecting for the past 30 years.  Good luck with your bids.
