Fresh out of a Maine estate collection.
These were all hand-made by one gentleman, who was in his 80's, in Maine (U.S.A). They are all hand-cut and bent, finely tacked by hand, with brass band tacks and solid custom fitted base bottoms. The wood is White Birch, of high-quality, made of Old Birch which is rare to obtain. The wall thickness of each is unusually heavy and solid, 1/8" in width. Snug fitting tops. Rare, fine craftsmanship. All in natural wood state, leave as is, stain or paint.
Includes (Shaker Style) :
- Carrier with Lid and Handle - measures approximately 8 5/8" x 6 1/8" x 3 5/8" height, with handle upright, 8" in height,
- Three (3) Small Boxes with Lids - each measures approximately 5" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/4".
- Medium Box with Lid - (can fit the smaller box within) measures approximately 6 1/8" x 4" x 3 1/4"
- Large Box with Lid (has partitions inside, you can fit the small box within, or other) - measures approximately 6 7/8" x 4 3/4" x 4 1/8".
